For Your Future Harry Potter Fix....
I started thinking about what I would do when the I no longer have the Potter movies to look forward to. Sure there are still two more movies after the Half Blood Prince, which opens tonight, but I'm already dreading the completion of the movie series like I dreaded no longer having a new book. I know many people feel the same. Well have no fear. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will be opening in Spring 2010 at the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida! Future guests are promised that they can visit the iconic landmarks from the books and films, including Hogsmeade, The Forbidden Forest and of course, Hogwarts Castle. There also will be restaurants and rides. I am holding out for a personalized wand from Ollivander's (fingers crossed)! Personally, I've never really wanted to go to Disney Land or any of those kinds of theme parks, and I live half a country away from Florida, but Dumbledore help me, I will make the pilgrimage to this one. And, if it's anything like Disney, one might be able to get married at some locations at the park, like maybe Gryffindor common room? or the Library? I know... I know....my poor future groom.
